Our goal: One item, Every Adult, Every Week

We believe that giving has no age limit, and we want to foster a generous spirit in our children at ACC. As part of this effort, we are encouraging our children to learn to bring food items for the needy. We also want to invite the church family to participate with us.

Over the next year, we are asking children and you to bring in a specific item each month, items the Food Bank consistently says are its most needed. These items will go to the Halifax Ecumenical Foodbank (Halifax’s largest foodbank) which services needs in the Fairview community, right in our own neighbourhood.

Please deposit your items in the designated bin at the back of the church. Feel free to bring as many items as you can! The children will take responsibility for packaging the items for transport to the Food Bank. Feel free to download a list of items you can put on your fridge to remind you of each month’s featured food.

Those wishing to make financial contributions can designate an offering (ex: Food Bank) to ACC in an offering envelope. May your generous hands be blessed as you give to the poor!
