Lead Pastors: Bill & Cindy Wozney

Bill and Cindy have pastored in Halifax for the last 34 years, and are the founding pastors of Alive Christian Church. Beginning the church as a home group, they have seen it outgrow living rooms, a university meeting room and a rented church building before establishing Alive in its current facility in Fairview, NS. Their ministry is marked by a passion to make space for the Holy Spirit to move and transform lives and a heart to love, serve and nurture people in order to see them mature and become dedicated leaders and followers of Jesus.

Bill is active in building relationships with churches and organizations active in building the Church. He partners weekly with pastors in Halifax to pray for the city and build community between congregations. Bill also serves as a regional “Father” with Watchmen for the Nations Canada, partnering with leaders across Canada to hear and act on God’s heart for Canada as a country.

Bill and Cindy have been married for 35 years and have three grown children (Paul, Rachel and Amy), three grandchildren (Jonah,  Lois and Lila), are expecting a fourth in November 2009 and a dog named Isaac.

Associate Pastor: Keith Wells

After serving as a lay leader at New Life Christian Centre for over 20 years, Keith took on a pastoral leadership role with the New Life Centre church family three years ago. Keith brings over 20 years of  experience from the field of radio broadcasting and music production as a former performer, on-air personality, promotional representative, corporate salesman and content developer. His life story of personal brokenness and faith in difficult times gives Keith a clarity and credibility to speak powerfully about the life that Christ followers are called to when they walk with Jesus and others.

Keith is gifted with a prophetic ministry and is active as a counsellor with Living Waters ministries. We are excited about the developing relationship with New Life Centre and Keith’s role in pastoral leadership for our shared congregation.
